Jakarta (Kemenag) --- Directorate of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) Directorate General of Islamic Education of the Ministry of Religion established 69,313 PAI Subject Teachers in Schools as Participants in Teacher Professional Education Programs (PPG) in Position (Daljab) Batch II of 2025.
This year, there are 91,028 PAI teachers in positions (Daljab) who participated in PPG. If all participants graduated from PPG, then they will receive Teacher Professional Allowances (TPG) starting in 2026. This marks the government's strong commitment in improving the welfare of educators, especially religious teachers.
Minister of Religion Nasaruddin Umar said that this policy was in line with President Prabowo's direction to complete teacher certification through PPG as a whole this year. He also stressed that TPG for non-ASN teachers had increased.
"The Ministry of Religion is committed to supporting President Prabowo's national priority program. This is not only important, but also noble, because teacher welfare is a pillar for the blessing of education. I hope that teachers are increasingly raised and more competent in teaching," said the Minister of Religion in Jakarta, Monday (18/8/2025).
In accordance with the provisions, teachers who pass PPG in the current year will receive TPG the following year. The amount of TPG for ASN teachers (PNS and PPPK) is the equivalent of one salary, while non-ASN teachers received Rp2,000,000 per month, increased from the previous Rp1,500,000.
The Director General of Islamic Education, Amien Suyitno, stressed that despite the budget efficiency policy, PPG PAI was still completed this year. The financing scheme comes from the APBN, APBD, and Baznas.
"We are grateful to all those who support the success of this PAI PPG. After all PAI Daljab teachers are certified this year, we can focus more on increasing the competence of other PAI teachers in the coming years," he said.
PAI Director, M. Munir, said that teachers who qualify to become PAI PPG Batch II 2025 participants can see their status via their respective PAI Teacher Alert accounts. Implementation of PPG learning will begin in early September 2025.
"I appeal to all participants to immediately carry out the process of reporting myself to the established LPTK, from 18 to 31 August 2025," Munir said.
With this step, continued Munir, the Ministry of Religion not only showed concrete support for national priority programs, but also emphasized the presence of the state in fighting for the welfare and professionalism of religious teachers in Indonesia.
