Tangsel (Kemenag) --- The Ministry of Religion is accelerating the Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG) for Religious Education Teachers. More than 102 thousand teachers were involved in the 3rd PPG which was opened by Menag Nasaruddin Umar. This acceleration received appreciation of PPG 2025 participants.

Furqon, Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teacher in Benda District, Tangerang City, for example, said that PPG brought significant changes. "The Ministry of Religion's PPG program is extraordinary. There are also many participants, maybe even more than the first batch. The impact is very pronounced, especially for religious teachers," he said in the opening of PPG Batch 3 of 2025 which took place at the Harun Nasution UIN Jakarta Auditorium, Wednesday (3/9/2025).

"In terms of allowances, Alhamdulillah, the policy of the President Prabowo prioritizes religious teachers. We thank the President Prabowo and also the Minister of Religion. Hopefully he is always given a long life, health, and blessing. Only prayers can be conveyed as a form of gratitude," he continued.

The same thing was expressed by Rodia, PAI teacher at SDN Karantengah 8. "The program is very good. It is hoped that all religious teachers can benefit, both in terms of knowledge and welfare. Hopefully everyone can graduate," he said.

"I am very grateful to the Minister of Religion and the President for the existence of this PPG. Hopefully Indonesia will be more prosperous and the teachers will succeed," he said.

Sherly, a Christian Religious Education teacher, also expressed his appreciation. "Praise God, I am grateful, with my age 55, I just followed this PPG," he said.

"I am very grateful for this appointment. Thank you, especially for the Minister of Religion and President Prabowo who appointed us all at once. This appointment was extraordinary, all religious teachers under the auspices of the Ministry of Religion. This is a very large appreciation," he said.

In his statement, Minister of Religion Nasaruddin Umar stressed that PPG is the key to improving the quality of national education. Until the end of August 2025, 206,411 teachers had been successfully certified, up around 700 percent compared to 2024 which had only reached 29,933 teachers.

"This means that there has been an increase of around 700%, a big jump with a budget of IDR 165 billion. This figure is not small, especially in the current era of efficiency," said the Minister of Religion.

Furthermore, Director General of Islamic Education Amien Suyitno, reported that PPG Batch 3 2025 was attended by 102,279 participants, the largest in history. Of that number, 69,313 participants came from the field of Islamic Religious Education (PAI), which at the same time marked the end of PPG Daljab PAI.
